Now with Lemon...

Can't believe that the summer is almost over. I've still got like 3 weeks before I really have to start working, but I tend to start getting back into the swing of things as of August 1st. And since that's tomorrow...

I'm a bit nervous about this upcoming year, more so than I've ever been about a new year. Many changes are coming this year. And, as always it seems, the Executioner's Ax looms above me and many others in the district. Last year we lost 3 staff member (tho it looks as tho one is going to be hired back), but this year promises to be another rollercoaster ride.

But there will be good things about this year as well, and I'll enjoy and celebrate them as well. It could be the best of times and the worst of times, as they say.

If you can't tell, I'm trying to get back into the habit of posting somewhat regularly. Since it's not during the school year, I'm deprived of most of my material, but I'll try to keep things lively around here.

At least, more than it's been in the past few months.

Also, be sure to check out my latest project, http://www.ihatemattrose.blogspot.com. It's all Jake's idea, really. Contributions are welcome...just let me know if you want in.

Reorder now!

Back again for a bit. Man this summer seems to fly by. Seems I'm off visiting people 4+ days a week. Which isn't all bad. Just got back from a 6 day trip, and my head was totally lost trying to remember what I was doing and where I was. A friend once told me it's great to get back home after a long journey...it's true sometimes. Sometimes it's just back to all the old problems that you avoided by going on the vacation.

August is almost here, and with it the beginning of the end of summer. I'll head out to work on Monday to get things started in motion. Plus I've got to redo a project for someone, and I can get some work done on that out there. Theoretically.

Very tired right now, and a little sad for some reason. Listening to Enya isn't really helping either. Guess I'm just worried about some things.

I just finished re-reading "Shogun", great novel...especially the ending. I think I read thru it's 1200+ pages just for those last few that tie up all the loose ends.
